Traveling to Costa Rica in August?

August can be an unpredictable time to visit Central America, and Costa Rica in particular. Costa Rica’s temperatures and rainfall range in August—some years are cool and dry, others are rainy and hot.

But because August is considered low season, prices are less expensive, and it's far easier to find a room -- and a spot for your beach towel on the sand.
