Central America New Year's Resolutions

My New Year's resolutions this year are like many of yours: Travel More! There are Central America destinations I'd like to visit in every country; some place I've been to before, others to which I've always been drawn.

• Costa Rica: The Osa Peninsula
  
• Panama: The Kuna Yala Archipelago (formerly San Blas)
  
• Belize: San Ignacio in the Cayo District
  
• Honduras: The Bay Islands of Roatan, Utila and Guanaja
  
• Guatemala: Lake Atitlan, as always -- and Quetzaltenango as well.
  
• Nicaragua: The Corn Islands
  
• El Salvador: El Imposible National Park
  

But by far, the best and most definite part of my 2008 travels to Central America will be my wedding. That's right -- I'll be getting married on the island of Caye Caulker in Belize this March. Of course I'll keep you posted on the destination wedding details.
