Central America Photo of the Month: Island Puppies!
Only ten acres in size, Tobacco Caye is part of the Tobacco Range archipelago. It houses between twenty-five and fifty residents at any given time, as well as a few handfuls of visitors in its seven small hotels. I'm a sucker for dogs, so I instantly fell in love with the friendly Tobacco Caye mutts, especially the darker brown one (called "Lazy"). He and his sister adored frolicking in the water, chasing one another and wrestling. Their tirelessness made me feel lazy in comparison.
