Blog Carnival #4: Creepy Places!

Tuesday October 28, 2008
I don't know about you, but I love being scared. I love horror movies. Halloween parties. Apocalyptic novels (just as long as they're well-written). They're all about sampling a bit of fear from the comfort of your own home.

But what about experiencing fear in the first-person? That's the theme of our newest Travel Blog Carnival: Creepy Places, hosted by the Guide to Eastern Europe Travel. Your next vacation can include haunted hotels, graveyard walks, a Devil's Island, spiders, mummies and more. My own entry: the Crystal Skulls of Central America. They give me the creeps. And that's not to mention the end of the Mayan Calender in 2012 -- keep an eye out for a feature on that.

Happy Halloween, everyone!
