Dangriga is the largest town in southern Belize, but is rarely visited by travelers. However, it's a relaxed, delightfully quirky place to spend a day or two on your way north or south. Easy to get to via plane or bus from Belize City (the journey's just 3 hours), Dangriga is the heart of Belize's Garifuna people and the birthplace of Punta Rock.
