Meet Buttercup, a three-toed sloth and the matriarch of Aviarios Sloth Sanctuary in Limon, Costa Rica. Orphaned as a baby more than two decades ago, her rehabilitation was the inspiration for the Sloth Sanctuary's existence. Today, Buttercup is the oldest sloth the be raised in captivity, and spends her days hanging out (literally) at Aviarios.
