Belize Photo Gallery - Lost in Translation!
A melting pot of cultures makes for some colorful linguistic twists.

From Kirsten Hubbard, About.com

Belize's official language is English. However, many of its people speak Garifuna, Spanish, and Creole (spelled "Kriol" in Belize) dialects. The result is often mishmash of words and phrases that are often humorous, and always fascinating. Here are some images of Belizean signs and storefronts, most courtesy of Tracy Motz.
