The Ka'ana Boutique Resort & Spa is definitely high-end, but rates are reasonable, especially when compared to similar boutique experiences in other locations. Prices range from $250 for a room in low season to $450 for a casita in peak season.
While a two-night minimum is required in low and high seasons, Ka'ana's General Manager Nick Davies recommends four nights, at the very least (the requirement in peak season) to fully experience the region's bountiful offerings.
Ka'ana is located in the Western Belize district of Cayo, right outside San Ignacio, near the Guatemalan border. In recent years, Cayo in general and San Ignacio in particular have grown extremely traveler-friendly, especially for those who adore the outdoors. Ka'ana serves as a perfect base for exploring Cayo.
