A worthwhile day trip from the Ka'ana Boutique Resort & Spa in San Ignacio is the Jaguar Paw Resort, near Belmopan. Just an hour or so from Ka'ana, the Jaguar Paw Resort serves as Cayo's mostly-natural amusement park, boasting a zipline course and a fantastic network of river caves for Belize's best cave tubing.

One suggestion: call ahead, and make sure you're not arriving at Jaguar Paw the same day as a cruise ship group. They often number in the hundreds, and that's one line you don't want to wait in.
