Meals at Ka'ana Boutique Resort & Spa are always a joy, especially when served outside. The food is tasty, the setting gorgeous, but in true Ka'ana spirit, the most standout factor is the details.
I stayed at Ka’ana two weeks before my wedding in Caye Caulker, Belize, and Ka’ana’s staff never forgot. Over dinner our one night, the hotel managers danced out to us with a Congratulations cake, singing a joyful rendition of “Celebration” by Kool & the Gang (you know... "Celebrate good times", etc.).
We couldn’t stop grinning. Who does that? we thought. Maybe we’re jaded by the impersonal service at big-box U.S. hotel chains. But from the general manager to the newly-hired server, Ka’ana’s staff are undoubtedly some of the warmest, savviest and most accommodating we’ve ever come across. We discussed American politics with our busboy and the future of luxury hotels in Belize with the Ka’ana resort director. By the end of our stay, we felt embraced by a workforce full of friends.
