Welcome to Machaca Hill Lodge!

Machaca Hill Lodge's twelve private cabanas offer an ideal mix of ecological immersion and high-quality amenities, seasoned with a unique kick of jungle glam.

What kind of amenities? Most happily, the super-cool kind. In Belize's steamy south, air-conditioning is a necessary blessing. Each Machaca Hill cabana features a private veranda overlooking the thickly jungled grounds, complete with hammocks for ultimate leisure. Bathrooms are decorated in colorful and whimsical tile (the sun in my sink brightened my toothbrushing).

Rooms also include coffee makers, mini-fridges, safes, ample shelves and closet space, extra futons or sofas, and a vibrant selection of fresh flowers. Machaca Hill even offers wireless internet, but service can be painfully slow.
