Imagine growing up in a village on the Bay Islands, outside a Mayan market in Guatemala, or in Nicaragua's ancient colonial city of Granada. These are the lives of Central America's children -- some of the world's most diverse (and adorable!).

Note: Before taking photos of Central America kids, always ask permission. If their parents are nearby, make sure you ask them in particular. Different Central America cultures feel differently about having their pictures taken -- some love it, others loathe it. And don't be surprised if a child asks for some money in return.
