Spanish students at Habla Ya range from travelers to new business owners and other foreigners making the move to the verdant Boquete valley. In fact, Habla Ya offers a Part Time Crash Course for New Residents in Latin America. Group lessons include a maximum of four students, and all classes are customized around each student's strengths and weaknesses.
Habla Ya takes Spanish seriously, but that doesn't mean learning can't be fun. While the majority of Spanish immersion programs includes an extracurricular activity each week, Habla Ya offers eco-tours and cultural activities almost every day, from coffee plantation tours to river rafting. Every Tuesday, students can partake in the preparation of a traditional Panamanian dinner. There are also free Spanish movie nights, free dance lessons, and more. Talk about cultural immersion!
