Definition: On the Garifuna island of Chachauate in Cayos Cochinos, Honduras, I was invited to try an alcoholic Garifuna beverage. The locals call it Giffity, or Garifuna Gaffity. A knock-you-over blend of herbs and spices, it was definitely unique -- just not something I'd necessarily drink again!
Alternate Spellings: Gifity? Giffitty? Giffity isn't exactly a common written word, so the Garifuna spelling is an approximation.
