Chiles Rellenos

Definition: Chiles Rellenos are stuffed chile peppers (usually poblano or anaheim), a popular Latin American dish. Chile relleno stuffing almost always includes cheese, and can also contain beef, chicken or sausage, rice, beans and/or vegetables. The chiles are then breaded in egg batter and fried, often served with spicy tomato sauce.
Pronunciation: CHEE-lehs Ray-EN-yose
