Honduras Drinks: Horchata, a sweet, spiced beverage made from milky rice, is enjoyed by many in Honduras. Refrescos (sodas, or fruit juice drinks) and licuados (fresh fruit drinks blended with milk, water or yogurt) are plentiful and refreshing.

Popular Honduras beer brands are Salva Vida, Port Royal, Barena and Imperial. For something a tad stronger, pick up some guaro, a sugar cane liquor. If you're daring, you might seek out some giffity, a fiery Garifuna liquor brewed on Honduras's Caribbean islands.
