Tapirs are some of nature's more interesting-looking creatures. They're related to the horse and rhinoceros, and are pretty difficult to spot in the wild (due to their endangered status as much as their elusive nature). Above, the Baird's Tapir at the Belize Zoo was enjoying a dip in his personal pond.
