- My favorite beach in Costa Rica is Manual Antonio. Have been up and down the west coast of CR and there is nothing to compair to the quaint beauty that MA offers. Good restaurants and wonderful lodging. The scenery is hard to beat anywhere. Down side is a little light on nightlife.

Best Beaches
- Manuel Antonio is beautiful, a bit crowded during the summner season, Cahuita is lovely as well but it is not that visited as Manuel Antonio, which makes it even better. Jaco is nice if you surf, actually this is where the World Surf Championship 2009 will take place... but if you don't surf then it's not that great, I need to go to Tortuguero and Corocovado... I'll let you know how it goes..

Manuel Antonio!
- I LOVED this beach, it felt so local, the water was gorgeous. Plus it's right near the national park so you have an amazing hike in the same day.
